The Nova – Cairns Rectangular Fire Pit – Light Grey is a gas operated fire pit that offers heat and light, ideal for use in conjunction with an outdoor seating area. The fire pit’s large centre holds a generous amount of Lava Rock and helps to add a warming glow to your seating arrangement. The circular fire pit is set to one side of the table, leaving the otherside free to be used as a coffee table, resting drinks and snacks. This fire pit is made using GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete) which offers a superior level of durability, compared to MGO (Magnesium Oxide Concrete). This means the fire pit is much better protected from condensation build up than MGO fire bowls. The burner, pan and ring are all made from stainless steel which helps to prevent rust. Plus, the fire pit comes with a tailor made cover which will go over the pit and protect it from weather damage when not in use. We have also included a 2.5m hose, clip-on gas regulator and a paint touch-up kit for wear and tear. We recommend using a 5kg gas bottle (not included) as this will offer lengthy use. Depending on the heat setting selected, which can be controlled via the control panel at the side of the bowl, we believe a 5kg gas bottle will last on average 20-30 hours of consecutive use.
